Information about the ebikes used in the ISCycle project
Long-tail cargo ebike
The long-tail cargo ebike designed to carry up to two additional small passengers. Footrests and adjustable rail guards allow the set-up to match passengers' size. The integrated rack can also be used to carry cargo. The longtail ebike used in ISCycle is the RadWagon 4.
Utility ebike
The utility ebike designed to carry one passenger and/or run errands. The bike is designed with a protective wheelskirt and foot pegs. The utility ebike used in ISCycle is the RadRunner Plus.
Box-ebike
The two-wheeled box ebike designed to transport up to three additional small passengers (up to 80kg). The hood covers passengers from harsh weather and can be easily removed. The box-ebike used in ISCycle is the Dolly Cargo Bike.
Box-etrike
The three-wheeled box ebike that is stable when stopped at traffic. The bike can carry up to three additional small passengers, with a hood for rainy weather. The box-etrike used in ISCycle is the Bimas eCargo 3.3.
Commuter ebike
The classic commuter ebike with a step through frame. This ebike can be configured to carry a child in a seat or a trailer, and pannier bags can be added for carrying groceries, laptop, equipment, etc. The commuter ebike used in ISCycle is the Veloci Spirit.
Folding ebike
The lightweight (15kg) folding ebike can be easily folded to different sizes for storage, carrying onto public transport or transporting in a car for first- and last-miles travelling. The folding bike used in ISCycle is the Ahooga Active 24V.
Foldable ebike
The foldable ebike with all the specifications of a commuter ebike. Weighing more (25kg) than the lighter folding versions, this ebike has a longer range and can carry more cargo on the rear rack. The foldable ebike used in ISCycle is the Veloci Hopper.
